Wild Cats — learning done your way

Cookies

Last reviewed: 3 July 2026

A short, honest page about what actually runs on the site today — this will need a proper legal check before launch, flagged below.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how people move through the site — from first visit through to booking — so we can fix the parts that aren't working. PostHog uses cookies or similar browser storage to recognise repeat visits. We don't use this data for advertising, and we don't sell it.

This only happens if you say yes. Analytics stays off until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, or don't choose, no analytics cookies are set.

Nothing else, yet

At this stage of the build, the site doesn't use accounts, so there's no login/session cookie in play yet. Once booking goes live, the Cal.com and Stripe embeds on tutor profile pages will likely set their own cookies to do their jobs (scheduling and secure payment) — we'll update this page when that happens.

Your choices

Accept or decline the cookie banner on your first visit — your choice is remembered so you won't be asked again on this device. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. None of this stops you booking a session; it only affects whether we can see how the booking flow is working for you.

Before this page is final

Honest flag: we've added the consent banner as the cautious, standard-practice choice, but whether it goes further than UK PECR/GDPR strictly requires (or, less likely, doesn't go far enough) hasn't had a formal legal review. Don't treat this page as a finished compliance statement.
