Built by a home educating family

Wild Cats started with a simple problem: as a home educating family, we couldn't find tutors who understood Curriculum for Excellence, the SQA private-candidate exam route, or what it's actually like teaching a child who isn't sitting in a classroom every day. Big platforms assumed our children were in school. Local supply was thin or non-existent.

So we built the thing we were looking for — a place where families can find PVG-verified, CfE-native tutors, whether their children are home educated or schooled, and where tutors get a fair deal instead of a race to the bottom.

Scotland's exam system, curriculum, and levels are different from the rest of the UK, and that difference matters. National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher — that's the language we speak here, not “what school year?”

We're early. This site is being built in public, one page at a time — and it's the first stage of something bigger: The Den, a fuller home education platform, is coming next.
